Bio
My name is Debbie, but I’m mostly known under the online alias of ‘weirfan’. This name came from the fact that I lack good-naming abilities and I was on a Stargate fan forum (which shall remain nameless :-p) and had the biggest crush on the gorgeous Dr. Weir of Stargate Atlantis, hence ‘weir fan’ was born. I also love SG-1, and I read and write fanfiction for Atlantis. I enjoy writing, and I've actually gotten some done, so that would make me a writer, not a professional yet. So far I've written a little fanfiction and a couple short nonsensical original pieces.
Besides Stargate, I enjoy movies, musicals, playing chess, and reading. A couple of my favorite musicals would be Rent and Wicked. Oh, and part of those two, I love Idina Menzel, who has an amazing voice, and so does her Wicked co-star Kristin Chenoweth, they are both amazing, with different sounds, even better together. (:))
In movies, my personal taste ranges from the stupid to the clever, gorey, fluffy, depressing and anything in between. A few of my current favorites are Rent, Ghostbusters, Aliens, Balls Up, and just about anything with Sandra Bullock or Sigourney Weaver in it. As for reading, I like just about anything. I'm quite fond of Laurie Notaro and Magaret Atwood in books, and a few other people. I love fanfiction, and mostly read Law and Order SVU, Wicked, Stargate, Xena, Women’s Murder Club fic.
I think that's about it for now, I usually never know really know what to put in these things. I've covered the basics (favorite musicals, movies, and authors) oh, to add to list of favorites, a few books, Wicked, The Robber Bride, and all the Harry Potter series. Anything else will probably be somewhere in my journal, or yet to be rambled about. ;)
